Case Study Three

<< Back

This chestnut gelding had previously been looked at by a vet, nutritionist and Equine physio, but no improvement could be made. I found him to be very tight all over and felt that he was blocked from his head to tail. He felt like a plank of wood to work on, there was no moment on his skin or over his muscles and he has in a great deal of pain in certain areas of his body. This horse was in poor condition, lacked energy, was lethargic, stiff, and had no interest in life.

These photos were taken after 3 treatments at weekly intervals, then one month after these treatments. I had requested over the last three weekly treatments that no riding, work or grooming was to take place with this horse. After this time, one month of walking was advised. The result of treatments and walking produced these amazing photos which I took when I returned to check on the horse. I gave a program of work for this gelding, which enabled him to compete successfully at Riding Club level. Previously he had found this physically impossible to do so.
